6th Annual Taste of Mardi Gras
A Street Party on 4th Avenue
We’re taking the party outside for the only street party recreating Bourbon Street, featuring authentic Cajun cuisine from local celebrity chefs, live music, street performers, and continuing our new tradition, an open zone between the Anchor, the Gaslight Lounge, and the Pioneer Bar in downtown Anchorage.
Join us for a block party extravaganza. Kick back and enjoy the last days of summer while supporting the life-saving mission of the American Red Cross of Alaska. It’s all happening Friday, September 10, 2010 from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m., downtown on Fourth Avenue.

Your ticket gets you a Cajun-style feast prepared by Anchorage’s celebrity chefs, a drink ticket for beer or wine, live music by H3 and Jack River Kings, and entrance to all participating venues. While the 4th avenue party is under way, the Mardi Gras festivities continue on inside the Anchor Pub & Club, the Gaslight, and the Pioneer Bar. Let the good times roll!

Tickets are $25 each, or two tickets for $40. A military discount is also available. Tickets will be available at the event, at the Red Cross Office at 235 E. 8th Avenue, Suite 200, or get them here and now:
